What is a Cellular Antenna ?
A Cellular Antenna is a radio frequency (RF) antenna designed to transmit and receive signals over cellular networks. It connects wireless devices—such as routers, gateways, modems, vehicles, industrial equipment and IoT devices—enabling voice, data, messaging and machine-to-machine (M2M) communication to mobile networks.
Modern cellular antennas support multiple technologies, including 2G (GSM), 3G (UMTS), 4G LTE, LTE-M, NB-IoT, and 5G NR, depending on their frequency range and design. They are widely used in industrial automation, transportation, smart cities, agriculture, healthcare, retail and consumer electronics.

Related Cellular Antennas
A Cellular Antenna enables a device to communicate with cellular network by transmitting and receiving voice or date RF signals.
Yes, many wideband antenna can support both 4G LTE and 5G frequency bands. Before selecting an antenna, it is important to verify the device working frequency range.
Not necessarily. Matching right to application and device is necessory, in some cases, lower gain antenna also can provide better overall coverage.
An internal antenna is integrated inside the device while an external antenna is mounted outside the enclosure to improve the placement flexibility and enhance signal reception.
A MIMO cellular antenna is a wireless antenna system that uses Multiple Input and Multiple Output (MIMO) technology to transmit and receive multiple data streams simultaneously.
Yes. Antenna placement is one of the most important factors affecting cellular performance.
In the same condition, a higher gain antenna can improve the weak signals, but some factors must be considered, like location, antenna types, low loss coaxial cable and the frequency band compatibility.
Yes, we can provide OEM and custom cellular antenna according to customer’s requests, like the connector type, the cable length, the gain and antenna types, as well as the dimension and customer’s logo.
